# Installing Yoxel

### Start installation

***

To begin using Yoxel Sync you will need to install the trial version of the application from AppExchange. After 30 days, unless licenses are purchased, the app will stop functioning and you will not be charged.<br>

To install a trial version of Yoxel, visit the Yoxel AppExchange listing:

1. Go to the [Yoxel listing on AppExchange](https://appexchange.salesforce.com/listingDetail?listingId=a0N3000000B38M0EAJ).
2. Click the **Get It Now** button.

When you signup for the 30-day free trial you will gain access to the "every 10 minute" sync. If you would like to test more frequent synchronization, please contact us at <support@yoxel.com>.

### Sign in

If prompted, sign in using your Salesforce credentials. You may already be logged in. If so, continue to the next step.

### Choose install location

Tell Salesforce whether you are installing to a Production or Sandbox environment. Unless you have a sandbox account and plan to test that way, we recommend you choose **Production**.

**Sandbox:** allows you to use apps in a “test” environment, separate from your live production org. You must have admin access to your sandbox in order to install an app in the sandbox. When installed in the sandbox, there is no expiration date for the trial version of Yoxel.\

**Production:** your “live” production environment allows for easier conversion from trial licenses to active license without the need to reinstall application and recreate sync settings.

### Agree to terms and confirm the installation

This page confirms the installation version of Yoxel and the account being installed into. You are given the opportunity to read the Yoxel terms of service before you continue. Confirm the information, check the box to agree to the terms, and then click **Confirm** and **Install**.

Once you have agreed to the Terms and Conditions, you will be asked to confirm the installation. You will be asked for your credentials again. Input them and continue.

### Package details & access levels

Inside your Salesforce org, you have a chance to review the package details and choose the application access level. It is up you to decide which profiles will be given access to Yoxel. You can start with just admins, give all users full access, or choose access for specific profiles.&#x20;

Note that Yoxel is handled with licenses; nothing is visible to a user until a license is assigned.

### Remote sites

Yoxel communicates with Salesforce cloud service (Heroku) and internal database; permissions to those sites are packaged in the application. You must confirm the settings to continue with the installation.

### Install completion

You'll be taken to the processing screen while Yoxel installs. It should not take more than a few minutes for the process to be completed.
