To start the task sync you need to allow Yoxel to access tasks and then to configure the task sync rule.


Allowing Yoxel to sync tasks

To allow Yoxel to sync tasks you need to navigate to the Yoxel tab, expand Salesforce and Outlook services, and make sure that Task sync is selected for both services. After selecting the Task sync modules, click the Save button.


Configuring the task sync rule for Salesforce

Yoxel users can setup task sync using the following rule:


Yoxel syncs all tasks assigned to you in Salesforce either bi-directionally or one-way. To enable the bi-directional sync, select “Allow updating, creating, deleting”, and to enable the one-way sync select “Prevent any modifications” option.


Configuring the task sync rule for Outlook

For Outlook you can enable Yoxel to sync either all your tasks, “All my tasks” option, or only those that are assigned a certain category, “All tasks assigned the named category” option. The formatting of the category names is case sensitive and should be specified exactly as it is used in Outlook.


Yoxel will append by default the category that you specify for syncing to all tasks synced from Salesforce to Outlook. Note that when you first activate the sync Yoxel will sync only active tasks, those that do not have the “Completed” status.

Yoxel syncs all tasks either bi-directionally or one-way. To enable the bi-directional sync, select “Allow updating, creating, deleting”, and to enable the one-way sync select “Prevent any modifications” option.
